If I had any brains I should have bailed at the end of round one. If Miss Hybrid had not advanced I know I would have. She is my Miss Freeones regardless of how this ends. Nina Mercedez has been very active in this thread since day one and it is an honor to support her. I wish more of the active girls had received some appreciation because had they, this thread would be a blast, instead of experiencing a painful and slow death.
I suspect Petra's motives in having an open contest is to bring people into the site and I am sure they were completely aware of the good, the bad, and the ugly. Having endured the Ms Myspace & Booble wars it's a catfight either way and respective groups square off when there candidate or member comes under fire.
The only thing I don't like is the votes are not shown and this round seems to be a problem with the ranking even though "someone" leaked it out
If the Vette wasn't in the running there are a number of candidates that wold draw serious interest. There are also a few cafones!
Either way, it's only 12 more days.:fight:

That is interesting because I'm not sure this is the contest Freeones wanted, not even sure if they cared what kind of contest they got. Changes can be made to improve things for next year if they are interested in doing this again. I hope they give it some thought because there are some really terrific members here. Some of these people have allowed me to become their friend and I am very grateful.

I'm sure they cared, but there is no way of telling how a competition like this is going to pan out until you actually run it, and you can't really change the rules once you start. Next year, I'm sure they will have tied things down a little more, and at the end of the day, it gives more exposure to this site and to the OCSM's that actually participate on the board - either here or in their own threads. To me this competition has been a success in that I have been able to interact with some lovely ladies and get to know them a bit more as people and not just pictures. It has also given some stars more exposure (excuse the intentional pun), than they would otherwise have had. I'm sure that if you asked Miss Hybrid, she would concur, even if she did not make it through to the final round. From a relative unknown to a rapidly growing fan base in just a couple of months is pretty good going.
btw - Vicky Vette gets my Vote today.

I voted again today for Sunny Lane.
I think this contest was a trial run and when/ if they do it again next year it be better locked down. They have done a good job so far being that its a new contest.
