sidenote: i knew a guy who helped deliver food paid for by money raised from band aid.
he told me when they reached the coast there was literally tons of rotting grains and such all along the coast.
seems the people who needed it lived inland and had no means or motives to come get the food.

Ummmm I thought it was pretty easy to understand. I band that provided aid for famine relief back in the 80’s. Thus Band Aid……… Nothing to do with a bandage genius.
