Considering that it was written after New England's undefeated season, it was probably posted in 2007. That might explain the discrepancies.

And Sam didn't write it, it's from a blog on the Bleacher Report. That's why he posted a source at the end. Maybe next time you should actually consider reading the article before dismissing everything that was written. The author brings up some good points about why Americans as a whole generally don't give a fuck about soccer.

Fair enough, I didn't see the link that was posted. Sam posts a lot of replies to threads where he does write the text himself. I just assumed that was the case again

The Broncos had a solid year and turned some heads. They've found a qb they can invest their time in. Leave it at that.

Football
The most obvious difference. World football is actually played with the feet, and the only player that can use his hands is the goalkeeper. I'm not exactly sure how the American game got its name seeing that, apart from running, the feet are only used for kickoffs, punts, and field goals.

Because the game is played on your feet; not on say, horseback like polo.

American Football, interestingly enough includes no ball, but 'a prolate spheroid ('egg-shaped')'. And it is played by the hands, except rare moments, THEN people do a kick.

Elwood Blues has a point. Early days of the game there was no such thing as a forward pass. Most of the game was running the ball and kicking the ball.

I have to agree a decent time, but it was not Tebow who did all the work, put his ass out there on the field alone and watch him get his ass handed to him then.
