Who really cares... they're all a bunch of overpaid sissies!
I have to whole-heartedly agree.

Ever since the loss to the Russians in the olympics, the US has pushed for its professional athletes to be allowed in the olympics. Frankly, this was stupid. American professional althetes are far too individualistic to compete, and I'm glad when we send them and get our asses kicked in the olympics and other world basketball competitions.

I love to watch the teamwork of American college basketball, and wish we'd go back to sending those young men than today's individual-focused franchise. It completely turns me off, as an American, to see "World Champion" as the title -- when the allegedly best-of-the-best American team can't take a real, world title.

Actually the Detroit Pistons are a good example for playing as a "Team". There is not one true superstar and the all seem to know there role very well.

I do agree they are overpaid, but there are no true amatuer sports anymore. The NCAA is a money making extravaganza and the best players seldom stay after their sophomore year

I agree, I will hopefully be going to one of the finals games this year.

Deeeeetroit Basket-ball!

hey, why isnt the phoenix suns included in the poll? seriously, i think they are a highly competitive team even though they dont have a real "super player." :p

My guess is Detroit...would like to see the Cavs do well and for the Suns to make it to the Finals....

You are my best friend.
I am a Cavs-psycho, and a massive LeBron fan. Realistically, they don't have a chance against Detroit in the 2nd round...

However, Detroit STILL can't beat the San Antonio Spurs. They're deeper, more experienced, and simply better.

It may take 7 games, but the trophy stays where it belongs.

Detroit still cant beat the Spurs? Detroit beat the Spurs twice this season and I know it was only the regular season but the regular season matters thats why they play it and as far as the deeper issue goes Spurs got older and the Pistons got better also Experience the pistons have just as much experience as the spurs and if it was'ent for ONE count it ONE bad play in last years finals the Pistons would have won in 6.
