They are ok I suppose. I mean I am not a big fan of them or anything. But I wouldn't put one of their CD's off if I heard it on. I think Tuonela is an underrated Amorphis album. The Way, Divinity, Summers End, these are the three songs on it that stand out the most IMO. Those three songs can be found on Youtube.

Then there's Mexico...the 3 main groups in Mexico are Mestizo(a mixture of Indian and white) Indian,and white. But if they move here they magically become "hispanic" according to us,the experts on race.

That's just how WE classify folks for census reasons, and many latinos pushe
d for it because it benefits them in business, education and government programs.

And don't get all butthurt for Latinos and non-Americans, they like to lump White people as "Anglo" even though most White Americans aren't Anglo-Saxon.

(and yes, I do think that asking questions that imply that women of color, or of different races are questionable when considering marriage - is totally racist. Human race is the only race that exists and its seriously time to get over the whole skin color thing.)

For fuck's sake, did you read my original post? I never implied that anyone was questionable for having children. I said that it's been SUGGESTED by certain phychologists that white men want white children. I never said I was one of those men, I was simply trying to start a discussion about it.

I can't get "over" the "skin color thing" when I'm not racist.

So after reading through several pages of this thread, I can honestly say that I regret making it.

I feel like 95% of the people that read it took it the wrong way. I'm not racist, I'm not an idiot and I am not opposed to white men having children with non-white women. I am also not opposed to doing it myself. I live in a very diverse area and because of that I maybe say things that seem taboo to people that don't. What I mean is that since I live in such a mixing bowl, it's socially acceptable for people to talk about race/ethnicity issues and such. If you live in a place that was 80% white you might not be comfortable with this thread. And if you're not white, then I'm sorry I offended you. You just took my point completely wrong and that may or may not have been my fault.

I regret making this thread because people for some reason have labelled me as "ignorant" and such. All that happened was I read somewhere that white men want white children more than black men want black children, asian men want asian children, etc. I wasn't necessarily agreeing with that, and I certainly don't fit into it myself (although at this point you probably won't believe me). It is what it is, I just tried to make an interesting thread and now I'm a jackass because of it.
