That would be great. The best we can hope for is a mixture of socialism and capitalism, the reality of capitalism is everything revolves around money, goods are imported in and jobs outsorced abroad simply because it's cheaper leaving people in the home country struggling to survive. Politicians are also heavily influenced by money men, most wars are ultimately fought for economic reasons rather than ethical/moral ones and old buildings or open spaces are covered over in new flats because the developers gave the local council officials a 'back hander' to get the planning permission. For any system to work in this day and age of global commerce we need all countries to have similar systems and values, we can never compete with China where people work for peanuts and health and safety rules are non existant. Even in the 1900s when Britain wanted to give up slavery there was uproar simply because people feared that Britain would lose there economic competitiveness over the other colonial empires who would still use slave labour for free, only when all the countries agreed was it possible to abolish slavery.The Star Trek socialist-communist-non currency based economics system.
