Surprisingly I think a lot of them wouldn't do better moving on to hardcore. For me, some of them just wouldn't be the same. Also while the idea is that you can make more money and get a bigger fan base by doing it I wonder if, for many people, that would wear off once the novelty of that person doing hardcore got old. I can see it being a big thing at first and then really trailing off as time went on. A few might hit it big. More of them would have a decent run at it, but just as many wouldn't get that huge of a benefit from it as people think. Plus once you go that far it's though to go back to doing what you did before without people complaining.
