Which Soccer club do you support?

Juventus
New York Cosmos

I'm watching some specialist videos
Arsenal doesn't even compare to Barcelona. Barcelona is arguably the best team in the world right now.
We'll find out in a couple of weeks. Arsenal v. Barcelona Wednesday 16th Feb and Barcelona v. Arsenal Tuesday March 8th.

Their tika-taka tactics call for huge amounts of ball possession, lacework passing and relentless build up culminating in quick precise attacks.
Which is what makes Arsenal such a great team to watch.

I think you need to watch some Rugby.

1. Arsenal
2. Fulham
3. Whichever team has an American (Aston Villa, Everton, Bolton get rooted for when they aren't playing Arsenal).

I definitely support the U.S. Men's and Women's National teams. I actually watch women's college soccer on tv or in person because the quality of the play is pretty solid, the chicks are hot, and you can see plays develop. It's great to study the game since they play the same formations and tactics.

I should watch MLS more, but I never found a team to latch on to.

As for Arsenal v Barcelona -- when the Goons got ripped by Barca last year let's not forget the Gunners had to play without a full squad whereas Barca had no significant injuries at the time. It appears Arsenal will be at full strength (minus Vermaelen) when they take the field. I'm expecting a different outcome this time? Do Barca really have a way to contain Theo Walcott? It didn't look like they did last year.

I find this american football vs rugby argument as to which is more manly amusing hahaha
But I find the concept of calling both 'football' more amusing as there is practically very little kicking of the football going on lol

I played football for a couple years. As much as I trash it for so many things that relate to it today, it is a hard ass sport to play. Hockey is right there with it. Football is a hard ass sport to play. Rugby is no question a hard ass sport to play. These are good sports. These are sports that turn little kids into men. There are a lot of lessons (and tools) gained in the process of getting the shit kicked out of you in healthy competition (get back on your ass, for example...).

This argument is interesting, and yeah, soccer can come off as pussy, but I can tell you I never felt fitter than after coming off playing striker in a game of soccer when I was still playing. Shit was fun as hell. I don't know, my dad got me into tennis and soccer leagues when I was younger to keep me busy in the hockey and baseball off season but now all he does is watch football and hockey, yet he bitches at me when I bitch at him for not following soc. or tennis. Dude's a nut. But he's the best athlete I've ever known in my life. Could kick the shit out of me in 21, baseball, or even chess.

A more constructive discussion could be had here if we argued who are the healthiest athletes on the planet. Soccer and hockey are the fittest, followed by basketball and then of course baseball and football are filled with twinkie stuffers. :2 cents:
