i believe when a performer comes and goes these are usually the possible reasons:

1- boyfriend, probably with money.
2- she made a name for herself and now she can use that to be an expensive feature stripper.
3- became a high priced call girl.
4- the money and the bullshit just wasn't worth it.
5- they just did it for some quick money anyway to pursue some other goal.
