Where are the Black Woman in Porn?

We are in a changing world. Soon we will have our first black president. Black people are found in law firms, professorships, doctors offices and anywhere else important work is being done.
But the Porn World still looks like 1955!
With the exception of a few woman like Jada Fire, black porn stars are still relegated to Blacks only productions. Heck black woman are still referred to as "ebonies" a word that reeks of the 1950's.
So why aren't more black woman working in mainstream porn?
Don't tell me about "the south". That's a small part of the market.
Something is really wrong with an industry whose racial attitudes seem in many, but not all cases, to be stuck in the past.
It's time for a change.

Yeah. There are a few black woman who haven't been relegated to obscurity in mainstream porn.
But they are still a handful at most and they aren't heavily promoted or featured on the big websites.
Just look at today's 20 most popular porn stars on Freeones, not a single black woman, and that's typical.
The reason--- I don't think its predjudiced consumers, I think it relates to backward industry thinking.

The only reason some people may even know of me, is due to all of the self promotion I do for my own site and career on a daily basis, which is sad.
There is definitely a demand for black women in porn, but unfortunately for whatever reason, many individuals who "run the show" in porn world, feel a need to ignore and possible stifle this demand due to "old fashioned" views.
What's really sad, is that many black women I feel are discouraged from even giving the business a shot because many porn studios refuse to pay black woman the same rate as their counterparts of other ethnicities. For example - recently I was offered a shoot of which the pay would have been less than half my normal rate. When I turned it down I was told by the studio that they can find black woman "all day and night" for that particularly low rate. Well if that's the case, then wouldn't there be MORE black women in porn or is the industry only attempting to attract black women who will do anything for any dollar amount...hmmmmmmmmm

That is sad. I had no idea that these views and practices still existed in this industry. I asked myself the question, "Is it me, or why isn't there more diversity in the adult industry??"

Ayana Angel is another good one. She had retired from the biz, but I heard she came back. I haven't seen her in any films lately though. I guess the reason why it seems there aren't enough black female pornstars is because there are a bunch of them that only do black on black and to me it seems like those movies don't get as much publicity. I often disagree with a ton of stuff the porn industry does, but in this regard I might have to actually defend them this time. There is no conspiracy to not have major well known black women in porn. The color porners like above all others is green, and whatever they think will give them money they will do, most of the time shamelessly if that's what it takes. If they thought that was having a lot more black women they would do that. The absolute biggest reason there isn't more big time black stars in porn is by far the customers. If more people wanted more big name black women, and more people bought a lot of material that was created with those people they would have them. It mainly comes down to that. If you don't like it blame the consumers of porn.

The current crop of black porn stars you see today look like they were recruited from welfare offices, typical hood rats. Also, Afrocentric companies like West Coast Productions and others have low budgets to begin with. If you want to see more beautiful black women in porn, then you have to offer them the same money [or more] as their White counterparts.
