I wanted to be a professional baseball player for as long as I could remember, preferably the Cardinals but seeing the salaries these days any team would have done the trick. . I was a pretty good football player but baseball was where I thrived. There was a short period where I wanted to be doctor as well.

I wanted to make the Olympic Equestrian team. Then when I figured out that my smart ass Appaloosa and I would never make it, I wanted to go to WSU and become a large animal vet. Unfortunately, with just 70 seats a year and either needing to win the lottery (they'd pick names) or have parents that make HUGE ass contributions to the school, that didn't end up happening.

Never really saw myself working in juvenile detention nor for a porn site. LOL

Baseball astronaut.

At a young age I remember wondering about the stars and the sky and birds and the like and wanted to fly. PIlot, nah, I didn't know what that was. I wanted to be an astronaut like a lot of kids. And with all the other wondering I guess a scientist too. Then I became a devout athlete and started to watch the t.v. programs and the like and picked up on ball pretty quick watching the older kids and I fell in love with baseball. I'd still like to be involved in either in some manner at some time.

Radio. I have always been captured by the spoken word. Graduated with a broadcasting degree with many meteorology credits. Problem was I didn't have a good voice and couldn't read scripts smoothly. Funny thing though, English was my worst subject in school yet I have made a few bucks writing on the side and still do. Go figure.

It depended on what time of the year it was. In the spring and summer it was catcher for the Tigers, fall and winter it was MLB for the Cowboys. As I got a little older it became clear that I couldn't hit a bender but I could hit a running back. As bad as my knees are now, I guess it's just as well that I didn't do either one.

As a tot I aways danced at family occasions to 'Baby Love' by The Supremes whilst taking all my cloths off - so thats really all I've ever done :boobies:

I wanted to design airplanes. Would build planes from balsa wood (actual blocks not the kits), later trying designs using graph paper and build them (not very successful).
Later an airline pilot. (at least I have a private pilot license).
Then maybe "just" an airplane mechanic. (reason for going into Air Force, check other posts to see how well that went)

I thought about being a pilot. Due to playing my cousins PC pilot games...destroyed the pilot thought immediately.

I wanted to be a game show host. Use to love watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and the Price is Right. It's not a dream I pursued as I grew up but during an introductory class when I was pursuing my Masters of Information during an icebreaker I declared to the faculty that I wanted to be the first hybrid librarian/game show host.

Currently I am neither of these things, bummer.

Dreamed (and when I say dreamed.... I'm talking about dreaming it as a kid from the age of 8 all the way through high school) of playing for the St. Louis Cardinals. I just KNEW I could make it. Nothing could stop me.

Then, I started smoking pot, running with the wrong crowd and falling behind.... after high school I joined the navy. Two years after I got out I had a tryout with the Cincinnati Reds. It was at that point that I realized how good of a ballplayer I wasn't.

But hey, I tried.

Professional soccer player. Too bad back in the 80's soccer wasn't as dominant in high school sports as it is today. My HS didn't have a soccer team and I joined the NAVY after I graduated, otherwise I would be playing somewhere in Europe. I try to play soccer every chance I get, and I play with retired pro-players here in Chicago.
