Braindead (aka Dead Alive) is one of the best. I really like the Evil Dead series, too.

Over the last few years i've really gotten into the horror scene from France. i really think they're making some of the best horror these days.

Oddly enough, I think my favorite horror film to date is still 'Shocker' by Wes Craven. I really don't know why I've loved it so much. Also, LOVE 'The Devil's Rejects', even though alot of people don't really consider it a horror film...I still tend to classify it as so personally. Actually, 'Rejects' is one of my top 5 favorites ever...in any genre. Ummm...some others I really like are:

I like the Fulci films - Zombie Flesh Eaters (Zombie in the US), House By The Cemetery, The Beyond, City Of The Living Dead (Gates Of Hell in the US). He does really nasty gore, and there's a real feeling of horrible, scuzzy horror in all of those flicks.

You can't really go wrong with Romero's original zombie trilogy, especially Dawn and Day, and even Land Of The Dead wasn't too bad (I haven't seen Diary...)

Fulci rulz! Ever seen Cat IN the Brain? I jsut saw recently, really fun and gory!

Romero is god! But, Dairy of the Dead blows...

^Yeah, I bought Cat In The Brain not long ago, a UK chain of shops called Poundland (everything only a pound!) got a batch of CITB DVDs in recently, for some odd reason(!) Haven't got round to watching it, yet, but am definitely looking forward to it.

In my opinion The devils rejects is Rob zombies best movie,in fact its his only good movie period.I really hated the way he approached my favorite slasher Michael myers and basically turned him into Jason voorhes....Fucking myers is amongst the shadows and not an in your face killer,hes not about tearing houses apart and fliping cars over as Zombies Reimagining,Revision of the character does in his Dreadfull Halloween and H2.

Zombie is fresh outta ideas folks,watch out for his next remake ---- The Blob.
