Amateur stuff tends to be pro stuff shot with a camera with vaseline smeared on the lense to make it look shite.

Interesting points .. the one thing I will disagree with you is "Amateur" and perhaps that term needs red-defined. But when I use it I mean the husband/wife teams or solo girls that really do shoot their own content in the own locations and at home. There is A LOT of amateur stuff out there of this type and the quality varies quite a bit. Some is excellent and some is shot horribly.
I agree the porn star stuff is consistent and the most high quality.
