Sometimes I get tired of the regular trash that comes out,so I always look for a good documentary to watch.I find it amazing,the dedication of the filmmakers to be able to finish telling some of these stories that sometimes take years to film.Hoop Dreams is a perfect example,and probably my favorite.

I love documentaries, but those are just some of the ones that come to my mind when I think of my favorites.
FYI - Even if you hate the New York Yankees, watch Nine Innings From Ground Zero. It's one of the most touching and heartfelt documentaries that I've seen in a long, long while.

Two awesome documentaries,but they are the type that get you pissed off before it's over.
If you haven't seen Man On Wire or The Bridge,you should definitely check those two out.
I like most of the stuff they show on the History Channel.

Okay, the Adam Curtis stuff will not interest you then. Although you can watch most of them on google video, usually in 3 one hour long videos.
