You´re kidding, right? They used horse fat?

The best burger I´ve ever had, I made myself. It takes lots of work, and love, but the result is awesome. (Then of course, I eat it in two minutes or less, and have to go lie down).

When I was in San Francisco the year before last, I tried "In and Out" for the first time (I´m not american), and if I had to choose a burger from a fast food franchise, that would be it.

There was also a surfer bar in one of the small towns on the coast to the south of SF, that made fantastic burgers, and they were HUGE.

Anyway, I vote In and Out!

We have a few local bars that have great burgers. Fries are kinda secondary for em.

I lived in Southern California for about three years, a while back and love In-N-out Burgers. I'd also get Carl's Jr and Jack in the Box as well. I even ate at The Hat a few times. I think they were famous for Pastrami cheese burgers - kinda like a bacon cheeseburger.

I remember Del Taco as well. Their tacos and burritos were OK, but their fries sucked ass at the locations I went to. Always cold, soggy and limp - kinda like my dick after swimming.

I live in the Midwest now, so we have Hardee's instead of Carl's Jr., but when I go to Hardee's it seems to either be for breakfast or a Roast Beef.

Being from Pasadena there was a place called "Jims" not to far from the rose bowl.
When I say they had the best fries ever made I'm not exaggerating. They make Mcdonals fries in their BEST conditions taste like the frozen fries you get at WalMart. Needless to say, Magic bought the place and turned it into the parking lot for a 24 hour fitness.
If you don't get what I'm saying, Jims for the Burgers and Fries. Then the rest.
