It's definitely expensive, but I think it's designed (or intended) to do more than simple phone stuff--calling/texting.

There's probably 40 iPhone apps that I wouldn't mind using. I read about new, cool ones all the time. I liked the Visual Voicemail feature Jobs debuted; I dont know if that's come to market yet (I suppose it's an AT&T issue over here)?

There seems to be a lot of promising directions the iPhone can go which other phone makers (at the moment) are in the dark on...

I was going to get an iPod Touch, but I'll wait and get an iPad when they work the bugs out. The iPhone doesn't interest me because I generally don't use cellphones in that way. But from what I've seen so far, this iPad will or can be a great device for someone like me.

What purpose would the iPad serve for you? I'm not trying to be antagonistic, I'm actually genuinely curious. It looks very much to me like the iPad is just a bigger, more expensive iPhone, and I'm trying to think of something you could do on an iPad than you can't on an iPhone.

Sorry, I still do not want an iPhone. Then again, I have a working phone that does what I need.

I like the iPhone, though I'm not considering buying it since its expensive and large and my current phone fulfills all my needs (calls, texting and serving as an alarm clock).

As for the Mac Computer, I don't have a particularly high opinion of it. I think it's made for people who don't know anything about a computer, don't want to know anything about a computer, but want to spend a lot of money on it. A friend of mine bought a mac book a couple of years back, he was thrilled with it for the first few weeks but now he doesn't think it's something special any more... and neither do I.

As far as iPhone, you guys missed the bus on ANDROID. Maybe next contract.

I like a few Apple Products but the over all company I ****. The Products are over priced they are out of date in a month and it has become trendy to own anything Apple.. Which I find annoying

Has anybody here jailbroken their iPhone/iTouch? It makes it so much better. Not even for the free apps, but the customization is awesome and it allowed 3rd party apps that Apple won't approve for the Apple Store.

Honestly, I don't see any way to use either of those without jailbreaking them. I don't really like the idea of Apple deciding which applications are useful for me, and I still have a pretty big problem with the App Store as it is.
