What's your brush with fame ?

Cult Mother and Simpering Cunt
Oh, I also have talked to Stu Barnes (currently with the Dallas Stars) and Olaf Kolzig (currently with Tampa Bay but started his NHL career with the Washington CApitals) several times since they played for the WHL team in my home city.

I also got to go to Stu's wedding since my grandfather was a janitor of the church. :)

I still have a hockey puck that Kolzig gave me before he got recruited to the Capitols.

There have been a few. The best would be when I brought room service to Little Richard and ended up chatting with him for 45 minutes about rock-n-roll. All the while he was stretched out on his bed, bare chested and top button undone on his trousers. Strange man, but if it weren't for him, there'd be no rock music today.

" Stuuuuuuuuuuuuu Barnes!!" The Sabres still miss him

I sat with KC Chiefs kicker Nick Lowery for an entire KC Royals game one afternoon. I used to regularly email back and forth with Bruce Kulick (formerly of KISS), and I spent nearly an entire year making a movie with Mick Thomson of Slipknot. He's a hoot. An odd hoot, and kind of a loud scary one, but a hoot nonetheless.

Jason Isaacs (of Harry Potter flicks, among others) sent me a postcard accepting my invitation to send him my first fantasy/adventure novel to him to read. Nice little postcard with a handwritten note on it.

I got to hang out with the first president Bush when I was in high school, and he was running for pres. We talked about the Russian language class I was in.

There's probably others- I can't remember.

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
I'll add mine to the list....

I was at Jimmy Johnson's house in Dallas and also was at O.J.'s house back in the early '90s. Met Nicole but not O.J. Jimmy is a terrific guy....loves his Heinekens! Sat next to Magic Johnson on a flight from LA to Houston once....what a super nice guy he is. Met Shaq at the Phoenix airport once. BIG dude. Spoke with Dan Marino for a few minutes at a restaurant in South Florida a few years ago. I have always been told what a jerk he is but I must say he was very gracious to me. I also met Pamela Anderson and her entourage at the airline club in Houston a number of years ago. I ran into Joe Theismann at the airport Marriott hotel in LA once but he ignored me when I acknowledged him so I would say that he is a first-class asshole. Most of the celebrities I have met have been very nice and down-to-earth.

It's good to be the king...
Met Telly Savalas (as a kid)

I see all these people have met some very interesting famous people. I have a question about that though. Why is it when people meet others that are not in adult entertainment (porn) then no one questions them? But when you see a person start or write on threads that have them meeting a porn star they need a lot of proof?

It's not proof of meeting pornstars that everyone demands. It's just that when someone posts a thread boasting that he has a stripper girlfriend and she has another stripper friend that she throws into the mix at times, but won't post the pictures to prove it their credibility tends to be rather lacking. I can say that I'm dating Erica Campbell and that I bang her every night, but, without proof, that would be an empty statement. :2 cents:

I once found a hair brush, it could have been a famous hair brush who knows :dunno: I didnt use it though because there was dandruff in it. Maybe I should have kept it and sold it on ebay.

Well, I banged Alicia Sacramone last night.
She came here looking for Gunslingingbird, but he wasn't around, so....... :dunno:

:crash: DAMMIT!!! :crash: I knew I shouldn't've gone to bed early! :crash:

Did she say if she'd be back tonight? :D

You say this sarcastically, but I've seen worse shit than that. I've been offered as much as $10 dollars by a fan for a half-empty bottle of water left on the stage by someone. A few years ago I worked a Faith Hill/Tim McGraw show, and I found a hairpin that belonged to Faith Hill. Nothing special, just an ordinary black, wire hairpin. I picked it up to give to my friend's sister as a gag because I know that she loves Tim and Faith. Well, I thought it was a gag, anyway, because when I gave it to her and told her it was Faith's, she went apeshit and I think she went and had it framed.

::RANT ALERT!::

Thats very strange, its this celebrity obsessed culture were living in anything to do with a celeb, be it a hair clip a water bottle or a semen sample become as gift from god to those who can get there grubby little hands on it. I suppose it makes people feel like they are closer to that person or something, to me, it seems a little sad, people have nothing better to do now than to idolise seemingly talented people and want to be more like them.

I do not know who Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are would I love and worship them? As I havent heard of them I doubt it. :hatsoff:

Do I understand it? No.

Are you a Tri City fan?

Pretty much any and all pro athletes that come to town I have access to, because one of my cousins knows where they all stay, and we used to go for autographs a few years ago. The best autograph I've ever got was from Gretzky on an authentic black LA kings jersey. I have pics of Gretzky and everything. That was cool. They also filmed a couple movies in my neighborhood and I got Jack Lemon and Walter Mathau's autographs when I was a kid.
