What's the worst video game you have ever played?

Black Light Tango Down is pretty fucking awful.Probably the worst FPS that I've ever played.

Other games have come to mind. I'm just old enough to remember some of the old Sierra games. (Some of them were just a step above the old text games that came out for computers way back in the day where you had to write in your action, and even those were pretty bad.)

I'm almost convinced only a masochist could like some of those old Sierra games. They were nothing but an exercise in frustration, failure, and futility. If you took the concept of "Nintendo Hard" and made it and order of magnitude worse and took the ultimate example of the trope "Guide Dang It" and combined them you pretty much end up with those games.

What was worse is that some of the ways one could fail were pretty cruelly diabolical. Often you wouldn't even known you messed up until hours and hours past the point you made the game unwinnable, and often even then it was difficult to ever figure out what you did wrong. While I think they tend to make games too easy at this point in time so they are all inclusive and have a bigger market and please more people there really is a point where a game can also be hurt because it's difficulty or tediousness gets to the point of stupidity.

What was even worse still is that those games were made in a era where there was no internet, and there was no real guidebooks to speak of even and even if they existed were they were difficult of find. I can only assume people actually beat the more difficult Sierra games by either having somebody on the inside of the company who knew what to do, having a virtual army of people that basically tried everything in a scientific controlled trial by error way until they got it right, or were determined to figure it out no matter what to the point of borderline insanity.

Lets see:

1: Every Batman game until Arkham Asylum(Batman Begins was actually okay, but it was short)

2: Every Japanese RPG after 2002. Like an idiot I kept trying them out thinking that they would turn back around to the glory days. I finally called it quits in 2008. Final Fantasy X-2 was probably the shittiest of all those games from that period.

Other than these things, I have actually had pretty good luck with games. Sure there were some bad ones, but they had some redeeming qualities that kept them off of my "Shred this shit first chance I get" list.

Wii Boxing, I was bobbin', weavin', duckin', and dodgin' and even my friend's little sister beat me.

All you have to do is shake the controller like crazy and you'll win, no strategy or skill needed, whatsoever.

I agree X-2 was a joke. Did we really need the 30 second unskippable scene whenever there is a class change. I've seen Japanese porn games less interested in random pointless fan service.
