I actually enjoyed some of the sega cd games and still own some along with a sega cdx, Working Designs Lunar 1 and 2, Vay and popful mail played well, I know I'm probably in the minority but I actually enjoyed some of those full motion game like Sewer Shark, Night Trap, Double Switch and Ground Zero Texas
Going to mention a bit more modern game now: Master of Orion 3. It's predecessor, Master of Orion 2 is a true classic, well refined in terms of mood and fun, even if it always turned into loads of micromanagement in the endgame. That was a minor flaw to me. I still play MOO2 occasionally. Even the tinkering manages to be kind of addictive.
MOO3 took all that away and made it into a horribly boring report reading game. I tried to like it... Goddamn it, I wanted to like it! However, there was no denying it. It's just horribly, spirit-crushingly boring. It was the worst bang for the buck I ever had and the worst lapse in my judgement when it comes to deciding which games are really worth the money and time.
The greater the predecessor, the greater the failure of the successor..

hawx 2 was a steaming pile of poo
I fucking loved Sewer Shark. It was just so over the top it was fun. I loved the Danny Divito Look alike and his super smart ditz assistant. Plus it was not bad as far as rail shooters go.

I used to love this series,but I guess I've just outgrown fighting games in general.Tekken 5 was worse than 6 though.
I loved MK vs. DC! And I thought SF IV was pretty good.

At least they got away from the stupid controls of having to push up to walk forward.
