whats the best browser?

thanks ymi, but no, youtube has phased out ex-7, it only works with 8 now.
with firefox for some reason i can watch one vid on youtube, if i click on another a box pops up telling me to save a file to desktop yes/no, and it wont load the vidyoutubes got other quirks with firefox on my comp too.
wondering about that google chrome.

YouTube hasn't cut support for IE7, it was IE6 they axed, and for good reason. Your problem most likely comes from your Flash installation. A number of friends of mine have had this same problem, I just un-installed Flash and then downloaded and installed the newest version and it worked fine after that. So if you're looking to stay with IE7 give that a try.

As for other browsers, I'm a toss-up between Firefox and Chrome. Firefox I use a bit more often simply for the Add-ons that I use so often, however Chrome is getting pretty good support for some basic extensions right now, like Ad-Blocker Plus, so either is a good choice in my view.

There aren't a whole lot so I'll have to stick with the classics.....Browser from Sh-na-na would have to be my fave.

I like Opera. The gestures are really convenient, once you get the hang of them.

i have explorer 7 which i like, but now you cant watch youtube vids with it.
explorer 8 is a nightmare with just too much unnecessary crap in it.
firefox on my comp is quirky, i dont like it much.
any suggestions?
thanks in advance.

i can agree about IE8, thats why i uninstalled it on my xp machine and just stuck with IE7.
and Google Chrome.

i use chrome as well. i used to bounce back and forth between FF and Chrome but now its pretty much just chrome. only feature i don't really like is the way it saves files, but its really a non-issue. i think i just put too many plug-ins on FF and it bogged down.

at work we have to use IE and i noticed that since youtube changed their site, the youtube new features suck in IE browser. but on Chrome its like the old youtube. and no autoplay crap they got going. thats more a complaint against youtube than IE though.

It looks like you're already using Chrome, but in the event that anybody else is curious, I too use Google Chrome and couldn't be happier with it.

I've been using IE6 for years as I prefer the way it saves files. However, I had the same problem as you with youtube so I had to upgrade today. I tried IE8 a few months ago and I really did not like it so today I installed opera and it's been fine so far.

I will probably create a partition and install IE6 in there so I can use it when I need it.

I own Apples.

So it is Safari for me. I like it ok. Took some getting used to.

I NOW HAD TO GO WITH SAFARI, opera had too much bullshit , but safari is ok after you get rid of all the bullshit you dont need.
at least it plays youtube well, unlike ie which on my comp youtube is almost unplayable with ie.
sucks that chrome crashed, its an internal issue involving flash or java or some shit that google has yet to correct for apparently at least a year now.
once the error occurs its gone.
i just clicked on a vid, got a message that chrome crashed and game over, no more chrome.
spent all day trying to fix it, no solutions out there, just a lot of assholes guessing fixes and wasting my time.

so my stupid list of best browsers now having used i suppose all-
1 chrome( when its working)
2 safari
3 firefox
4 explorer
5 opera

if you gotta crappy pc all the browsers will be glitchy
