Whats Better WWE Raw or Smackdown

Personally i think wrestling is the single most idiotic invention ever. Are the people in the audience complete retards or don´t they understand it´s just theatre? You don´t see people going to a Shakespeare play rooting for the "good guys" and booing the "bad guys".

Man, all you guys are pretty gay to watch all that soap opera crap.
I just don't get it. I mean, I was a WWF fan for about a year; back when the Hart brothers and Razor Ramone were still around and I was twelve years old, but I got tired of that crap when I started seeing new fights, but still the same ol' show with the pansy slaps.
Recently, my little newphew, (7 years old) got into WWE and he wanted an Undertaker figure and I am completely OK with that since he's still little. While visiting my sisters and watching WWE a bit and having my nephew explain to me that the Undertaker was burned it a casket and someone married Stephanie McMahon and a lot of other stuff I can't remember, I realize how this can entertain a *** or young adult, but I just can't see how a man can stand a minute of that fake wrestling/soap crap.

I theory is it's all just part of the whole new trend we're seeing of men getting more womanly every generation. I find WWE and all that other fake wrestling, just sad, and hilarious.

My question is to DarkWarrior and anyone else who knows this wrestling really is fake. Why do you still watch it?

100% percent agreeing with Civic, its entertainment, and most everything else on TV is fake now anyway. You can't even watch sports w/o steroid talks and players throwing the games. Wrestling entertains the fans who enjoy it, and that is a lot of fans because it has been staying around for a while.

They recently had a special on Spike TV this thursday night, it was awesome. They replay it on Spike Monday at 1 am I believe.

They have weekly shows every saturday at 11 pm, part of spike's slamming saturday night.

They're ppv Genesis is NOV 13, they're last ppv Bound for Glory was one of the greatest events in wrestling history. Genesis looks promosisng as well.

They are a growing company for god sake.. you can't just start up a wrestling company and start having events all over the world... You have to build up your company and get a good following just as they are doing as we speak.

Yes there are rising stars in TNA but what do you think will happen if some of these "stars" are offered double their salary by the WWE? WWE has been going to extended lengths to keep TNA back and its working. Within the next couple of years i expect to see many top TNA talents offered deals by the WWE.
I didn't say they should have shows around the world but at the very least around the state.
When i see stars like Road Dogg and Kevin Nash, its just sad. Some of these guys were leading either the WWE/WWF, WCW or even ECW. Kevin Nash was amazing as Diesel and kicked ass in WCW with the WolfPac/NWO, but now he jobs to Jeff Jarret, a man who in WWF used to come out on a *****.

They've been trying to get "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown (Also one of the rising starts in TNA) for a year or so now and they couldn't.. So they go out and get a carbon copy in their steriod pumped masterpeice Daron Lashley or w/e his name is.

I expect WWe stars to see how great and innovative TNA is and have second thoughts about who they wanna wrestle for.

TNA has already gotten Jeff Hardy and a few others and they are signing WWE superstar Christian as we speak. ***** Holly is expected to be signed in the near future. TNA recently signed Jackie Gayda a few days ago.

IMO, I expect a bunch more WWE stars Old and new in TNA in the future.

TNA stars don't seem tempted at this point by WWE's large paycheck. I'm sure TNA will nab up a couple or so.. but nothing major. I'm sure more than a couple may goto WWE but not a lot.

Some WWE stars may go to TNA, but I don't expct to see many top names do so. Jeff Hardy, ***** Holly, Jackie Gayda, LOL come on. As for Christian if he wants to go, good for him. Maybe he can show TNA that he is worth a paycheck. But don't expect to see him wrestle under the name Christian, his new name will probably be something like Chris Chin.
Monty Brown, pop in to a wrestling forum and read about how TNA fans bag on him. In some forums he has the worst internet following. And Lashley, just another asskicking Sum' Bitch.

Next question deals with what happens to TNA if spike isn't getting the ratings they want for the show? Are they going to be dropped like they were a couple months ago. I personally would love to see TNA rise, compete and then join the list of companies under Vince Mcmahons check list.

Christian is a brilliant wrestler, he has the skills and the mic skills to be something more.

***** Holly was one of the best women wrestling stars WWE had, she could actually wrestle. Same goes for Jackie Gayda. WWE seems to not care about Women wrestling anymore, all they want is a pretty face.

Lashley is WWE's steroid pumped answer to Monty Brown, Monty Brown is one of the biggest and most talented wrestlers in wrestling today. He played in the NFL with the Patriots and the Bills.. He knows tuff, he's worked his ass off his whole life.

As for Spike TV's rating for iMPACT they have been good but Spike has had very very little promotion for them. Even for the big 2 hour special Spike didn't promote it hardly at all. I think Spike needs to lay off the UFC bullshit and take notice TNA could be way bigger than UFC on their channel.

As for Vince, I could care less. ECW was good before it went on TNN in 98 or so then it went downhill.. WCW was till about 99/00 and it got stale and not even half of the wrestlers from these two companies went to WWE afterwards.

Do you really expect Spike to put in thousands of dollars promoting a b-rated show at 11pm? I also don't like UFC, but they have been around before and Spike knows they have a much bigger market for UFC compared to TNA.

I know what your saying, Spike knows UFC is a much bigger market. What I'm saying is if they pushed with more promo's TNA could be just as big as UFC. TNA signed a deal with Spike for iMPACT to be on their channel, if Spike wants people to watch it you need to have promotions..

I just hope TNA can pull through this and still attract new viewers every weeks like they've done. They've done damn good attracting new viewers since the debut on Spike even with no promo's.

Wrestling fake?...Sure they sometimes get hurt really bad...but is it fake no..broken bones, fake no...story lines fake...yes...getting through through a table and getting hit in the head fake?...no...check out this clip and tell me that the matches in wrestling are fake..skip the beginning with all the talking and the watch the whole thing ALOT of WWE in there

I think wrestling in general is pretty sad and hilarious; but WWE is supposed to be hilarious. I never liked it, but I have a shitload of respect for Vince, and his politics are definitely left of the middle, and he puts across a message beneath all the madness.

Raw or Smackdown? I was subjected to years of this crap and only Stacy Keibler kept me sane. So RAW. Assuming she's still on Raw. All the best people were on Raw, period. Anyone who thinks Kurt "Mr. America" Engle was a superstar, or Brock "I have no personality so I wanna be a Minesota Viking" Lesner for that matter, hasn't felt the presence of HBK and HHH and the rest of the Raw peeps. Engle and Lesner were some of the biggest names on Thursday night, and so it was all about Raw for me. Not that I really liked it. When Stacy was all tanned and covered in glistening oil all up those heavenly legs and she came into the ring for her bra and panties match... no, I wasn't watching.

I met Bret Hitman Hart in Buffalo in the summer; he was nice. I got him to talk to my Julie (big fan) on my cellphone - not many stars of his stature (so to speak) would have bothered, so he's a good guy in my book.

Get this, get this... my baby Julie, who I've mentioned a million times... her ********... is romantically involved... with one of WWE's all time biggest stars' sons. That is all I'm saying, because their relationship is a secret. True.

Why does Vince make Raw better?

In his day Bret was the man. But his prestige has faded and among many he is no loner considered the best. Only recently has he began working with the WWE again.
Its too bad you don't watch because during the Hogan-HBK feud Micheals was finally allowed to talk about the Montreal Screw job when they went there. I have never heard boos that loud from the crowd. W/o a doubt that was the most heat that ANYONE could draw from an audience.
Vince purposely has all the talent on RAW to improve ratings of the live show. Smackdown is looked upon as a place for odd characters and certain Star superstars. In all reality, to Vince, Smackdown is the B show.

Oh yeah, and I liked the Undertaker when he was scary and not a biker dude. When he did that thing where he jumped from the roof of the cage into the ring - amazing. His biker image... well, I still wouldn't tell him he was wrong about something... but he's not as cool anymore. My favourite wrestler (male) is (blushes) Test.

Taker is and has been for awhile wrestling as the original Deadman. I kinda of liked the biker image but prefer his dark side.
As for Test, i have never liked him since i heard he was dating Ms.Keibler awhile back.

So tell me about the Montreal Screw Job. This is good for me to know, cause Julie's *** is all about this stuff. Were they booing Michaels or Hogan or was it about Bert Hart? I don't watch much TV, I was kind of ****** to watch wrestling cause the whole ****** did. I'm not generally into that kind of thing, but I get the feeling you (and about a third of America) live for WWE and I think Vince is a good guy and I would totally do Stephanie McMahon, yummy, she doesn't get the credit she deserves.

Few facts:
It was Brets last match for WWF/WWE
He was supposed to retain the title and then forfiet it on Raw the next night
There was a shotty call directed from Vince to Earl Hebner(Former Ref) and they gave HBK the win.
Since then every time HBK goes to Canada they boo him.
