????
Yeah, I have no idea either.
But as to the original question... I'd generally agree with the other two posts. I did a bit of research on it a few years back, and the consensus among pop medical professionals seems to be that the sphincter is a muscle and needs to be treated like one. It will heal from most traumas if you give it time, but if you abuse it again and again without proper care, it will become permanently damaged. That damage can take the form of prolapse, fissures, incontinence, or any number of other problems. Its possible, but easily avoided.
yuh i agree, it makes sense, totally true. I couldnt of said it better. what a way to put it.
I'm guessing... drunk?
A lot of people are having anal sex both inside and outside of porn[1]. Neither medical doctors nor qualified educators are educating people about the risks adequately[1], and misinformation abounds.so whats the truth
That depends on your definition of "ruin." Repeated anal sex will typically change the appearance of the anus and the perianal skin[2][3][4], especially if it's not done carefully and slowly with a lot of lubricant each and every time. Moreover, there are a variety of health risks associated with anal sex. Sexually-transmitted infections aside, physical trauma can cause quite a few issues to develop, either directly or indirectly (e.g. anal sex can create a fissure, which can then become an abscess[5]; an abscess can lead to incontinence[6] and/or may become a fistula[6]).does anal ruin the sphincter
Are you referring to incontinence? Some former pornstars have admitted to experiencing problems as a result of anal sex[7], but (as far as I know) none have come out and admitted to having that particular one. Incontinence can be dealt with surgically; there is even such a thing as an artificial anal sphincter (google the phrase surrounded by double quotes).and cause accidents for former pornstars?
Oh really...As far as I know there is no conclusive study that shows a link to anal sex and bowel problems.
"The [rectal] mucosa is a delicate tissue that can be damaged by such relatively benign action as oral cathartics [laxatives], enemas, or hard stools. Thus endoscopic examination and anal sex are likely to cause some degree of trauma."As No_man and others have said, there is just the general medical opinion that supposes that it could be harmful, but not necessarily.
If sticking things up your butt was bad for you, then no one should ever adminster colon exams, yet doctors say that is OK.
