What the floppy drive?

I did not used the floppy disk for three or two years I think now. Why does the shop for comuputers be selling the floppy drive still? Why we do not need floppy disk now, does the floppy drive people still use it? Why does the floppy drive in the shop for computer still be there?

You need a floppy drive if installing F6 Sata drivers under Windows XP. I just made an Nlite disc that has those incorporated into it so I don't even need a floppy drive for that any more.

Like I said if you are installing Windows XP and have SATA hard drives you have to have a floppy drive to install the F6 drivers otherwise the installation will fail. Also diagnostic programs like Memtest can be run from a floppy. So yes there are rare circumstances where they are needed. I can certainly see why shops still offer them.
