My sister and her husband and their daughter were hit by a careless driver on Sunday. Bro-in-law has multiple injuries and is still in the hospital, sister has a broken wrist and had surgery this morning - will be out of work for 6 weeks. My niece has a broken collar bone.
Driver that hit them? No injuries. Had no insurance. Against the law in NC.
They didn't need that added stress on top of all their physical pain.

i think they should do that like dui..make it out of the question..to most of us anyway....your case is bad man...but just think..what if someone got killed!!..how fucked up would that be then??..i pay insurance on my two Every month..only the kind that protects others...(its all i can afford)..but if we have a wreck thats all you need....its just another hole in our justice system..its starting to look like a shower head lately
speaking of justice system ..i for one am damn sick of turning on my tv and seeing where some drugged up teen ager killed his family..i say its time to say damn the age and start burning some of these little scattered brain jerks..guess he wanted on tv?? In my local chain coffee establishment which is in a fairly well-to-do area..I'll be sitting, reading and or interacting on my computer, etc. Then every so often some suspender-bound, snooty, up-fucking-tight will trot in and dismount their high-horse, sit down and instead of drinking their tea or coffee...they'll swig..
Fucking annoying bastards...I suppose in some part of the universe that's still considered classy and cool...
