What percentage of porn websites do you think contain viruses and/or spyware?

Porn is a massive industry and you're bound to get a few bad apples in the bunch, so what's the percentage of bad porn websites compared to the safe porn websites?

real subscription sites should be safe. jennahaze.com clubcharlie.com (charlie laine) zerotolerence.com etc.. are all 100% safe. they are actual professional sites.

when you start getting into the free movie clip and picture sites, thats where u risk it. freeones.com, for instance, is a 100% safe site that falls into the general dangerous catagory. but the difference is, they are a legit company. they actually have a purpose, promoting stars, sites, and companies. but others make their bucks by throwing you in random sites. every 3rd link takes you to somewhere that had nothing to do with the pic you clicked on.

keep your firewall up, a decent antivirus, and a safe browser like firefox and you should be fine.

Okay, but how does FreeOnes know the links that they post on these stars' pages are virus and spyware free?

good question. i wouldnt know offhand since i dont work for them (yet!) hehehe but i imagine they totally check them out. they seem to be cautious of that sorta thing. same how they verify the OCSMs, i figure they just take the time. ive never been referred anywhere bad yet.

The main reason as to why I'm curious is to make sure I don't get a trojan or spyware on my computer. I'm not willing to pay another $130 for the computer repair guys to clean my computer again.

I know of one extremely popular adult dating site which made my antivirus go absolutely crazy.

you're smart to be concerned. try having some good counters just in case u do run across something somwhere else. some staples i got are:

spybot (anti-spyware and trojans)
adaware (same)
a good antivirus (anti virus, duh)
zonealarm free firewall (work pretty good!)

Use Firefox and get a paid subscription of AVG's antivirus product. Internet Explorer seems to get more and more exploitable with every release...use it at your own discretion!

I generally peruse a set of thumbnail links sites before I migrate to the free stream places. The free stream sites I go to seem "okay" but I've noticed a lot thumbnail sites harboring "nasties" things....Firefox and AVG warn me

If you get FireFox, be sure to get the NoScript plugin - worth its weight in gold, and the primary reason I'd recommend FireFox

Other than that, almost every free gallery page is gonna screw with you. Freeones is the best site on the net for a reason.

Google should tell you most of the time if you google it first.

Most sites are safe, but freeones.com could be giving us a virus right now. They aren't doing it on purpose and they don't know about it. This is pretty rare though for major sites, but it still happens. Google is one of the only sites that is almost unhackable.

I use no anti virus or firewalls on my computer. NN for that shit nowadays. If someones going to get through my system it's not going to matter what I have.
