I got it as a fresh install on a new notebook.
After the third party software people woke up and provided drivers, I have no probs.

I have used most systems from DOS until now and find it much better than the earlier Microsoft systems.

Still prefer the XP though. Vista just seems unfinished somehow.

Vista is alright. It's just seems like in somethings that it could and should have been just that bit better. I do like it, but as I said I still prefer XP. Maybe that's because I'm very used to XP having used it for so long. Vista might grow on me in time and I'll end up liking it more than XP.

Like Ax3C I've not had a problem with it yet.

Dualing booting XP/Vista. After dealing with numerous conflicts with various games, it's now been months since I last booted Vista. Other than games, though, I didn't really have any problems with it (after I turned off the annoying permissions dialog boxes that seem to constantly popup).

Time to downgrade to Win98SE for maximum stability!

It varies. Sometimes Windows XP since some interesting applications require it, sometimes Windows 2003 since SQL Server requires it, sometimes Fedora 7.

I'll give Microsoft a few years or so to fix all the bugs and security problems in Vista before I install that on any computer with personal/confidential files on it. :1orglaugh
