What makes you join a paysite?

I was just pondering this with a girlfriend of mine in the biz, and we were trying to figure out what makes a person take the plunge and whip out his credit card

I personally think that the quality of girls/content is what a person looks at the most, and after seeing enough hot girls and content that is shot well, they decide that they want to join and get more of it

my girlfriend thinks that it is the amount of content and how much they update it

I have seen some girls that update their sites once every 2 weeks that have huge member bases, but I have also seen girls that have a new update every day that have huge members bases

what is it for you?

I'm with you, I think quality content is the biggest factor.
Updates are of course important, but if I have to wait a little longer for good quality stuff then I feel it's well worth the wait :2 cents:

Thats the case I think as well. Me I havent joined a paysite, I actually dont search around for porn much except around here and if someone has a request I may go out and look (like your puffy nipples thread). If I ever did join a paysite I already know which 1 it would be and I would join it just because I like that certain woman. Now I kinda think its both reasons, 1 is the fact they like a certain girl and she has her own site (like u for instance) the other reason is just lots of good content (like deluxepass and adultbouncer) those sites that have lots of other sites and u see them for the same password and they have lots of hq movies and big name stars.

I made a deal with my husband though for our site, that we will be buying at least 1 title a month for as long as we can...all movies that I have been in...for members on our site

to buy the title isn't cheap though, so we have to do it slowely and one at a time...but we get the dvd mailed to us with a license to use and edit it for our site

Quality comes first, but also quantity is a close second. A model can have 30 great sets and ten 2-minute video clips on her site, but how long will that keep anyone's interest? Not long. Conversion rates for sites like that (no names out of respect) are shit. Join, bail. Join, bail. Repeat ad nauseum. Sure, you get the one-shot 3-day tour or maybe at best a one-month membership out of it, but anyone with a fast internet connection will have DLed all of your site content in a day.

It's really the same for porn/erotica as it is for every other thing we buy. You get what you pay for, and when people sign up for $6.95/month paysites, they're going to get just that... That doesn't mean that high quality sites with loads of content should start charging $49.95 per month, but there IS typically a relative price for quality and quantity of content.

Just Crissy's site alone offers a ton of content, and when you get into the "gone bad" sites, there's so much stuff there your head would spin.

I REALLY wish people would just pull out their credit cards and try a paysite once. They'd have their eyes blown open just with a 3-day trial or a week trial or a month's membership. They'd not be spending hours and hours a day snagging pics from puny preview galleries. On paysites they're neatly zipped up and you can get a 130 pic full gallery in a minute or two, all at once, and in high resolution!

Guilty here of something, but not really.
I'll join a site for the gal I want to see who just happens to be on the site with pics and video and then I'll bail.
I belong to only one paysite and it's a model's. Still new and pic set updates are about every two weeks. She even gave a "thank you" to us loyal patrons.
That is the secret to sites that are about one gal - keep the updates coming for those loyal members.

I completely agree! It is quality as well as quantity. If a site does not even have quality, I will not even get close to slapping down my card however, if the site looks like it has quality and I get in and two weeks later I am looking at the same stuff, I am out!!!

I've never joined a paysite myself. I think I just get a bit weary when they start asking for credit card details and email addresses. I'd rather surf for the free stuff.
