Probably not, since most of those people are already of the same race for the most part. Their situation is more akin to the ongoing (silly) conflict between the Protestants and the Catholics in Northern Ireland - and they're all lily (or ginger, to be more accurate
) white. They simply love to hate each other. There's just something about us humans, that we love to divide ourselves into nonsensical groupings, no matter how similar we actually are. And the ones who are most vocal about it tend to be the ones who are on the lower rungs of the socio-economic scale. It is quiet simply a fact that you will not often see a Confederate flag flying in front of a $750K house on 10 acres. But it is quite common to see one flying in front of a single wide trailer that's supported by cinder blocks. Some people, who have very little in the way of intelligence or resources, need something (real or imaginary) to hang their hat on, so that they can feel just a bit better about their unfortunate station in life.
Whether or not man originated in Africa or the Middle East, some of you seem to still be missing the one fact that actually matters: We all come descendant from one man. A point that is agreed upon by all of the Abrahamic religions and modern science. As you know, those two don't tend to agree very often. You can argue about the origin of man, or whether or not Eden was a real place, and you can point out that your family came from group A, intermingled with group B, so you can't possibly be a part of group C. You cannot, however, argue with DNA. Even if your family record keeping is on par with that of the British Royal family and stretches back over a millennium, man's record keeping doesn't hold a candle to that of mother nature. We are talking about a few hundred years or maybe even a thousand years of record keeping versus eons of record keeping done by DNA. My point is basically the same as StanScratch: At some point, your genealogy is as tangled up as spaghetti. Think about it; if you go back 4 generations(not counting yourself), you have exactly 16 great, great grand parents. Go back two more generations and you have 64 great, great, great grandparents. Think about how messy that shit gets once you get into the double digits.

Hmm, yes... Either that or "dago/be@ner". I think in most scientific works, it's an either/or classification. I'm fairly sure that the men who worked for her father could have been convinced not to cut your balls off if you referred to her in that manner. Well, I'm mostly sure, but not entirely positive. :dunno:

I don't know why he hasn't responded to his landslide victory prediction form a few weeks ago but we are onto another topic now. He may need some time to gather his thoughts about my question.

Sam has no knowledge of the (actual) races of man or genealogy. He (in his heart) knows that. He is only capable of delivering the same generic conservative, pre-programmed, canned responses that he offers up in every other thread that he posts in. If Sammy saw a dark skinned Afghan man with a blonde haired, blue-eyed woman, his racist Spidey Senses would go off the charts. Why? Because he's too ignorant to know that the dark skinned Afghan man is likely more of an actual, pure Caucasian than the woman. But hey, you know what Forrest Gump said: stupid is as stupid does. On my ex? Uh, a rather easy answer, no? :dunno: Having a father of Italian extraction and a mother of Spanish extraction, she was racially a Caucasian. Culturally, she was Italo-Hispanic. I'm far from any kind of expert on this topic (and don't pretend to be), though I tended to pay attention in school.
So IMO, some of you folks could do with a trip to the library to learn just a little bit about race, ethnicity and genealogy. :nono:
