What is your favorite film score?

A lot of Ennio Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith & John Williams over the years but the one I listen to the most esp. when driving is John Williams' Jurassic Park.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
Once Upon a Time in America (1984)

So few people have seen or are aware of that great movie. There are about three versions of it floating around, with two different endings. It's amazing the number of talented, mega stars that are in it. And yes, it's a great score. I bought the soundtrack years ago.

Another favorite of mine is the score from Grand Prix. The score and the soundtrack are by Maurice Jarre (of Lawrence of Arabia and Dr. Zhivago fame). If you're into this great racing film (arguably the greatest ever), then you'll love the score and soundtrack. I love the soundtrack. But even though the film has been released on DVD and I bought multiple copies (cause I'm weird that way), the soundtrack is VERY hard to get. The last copy that I saw was $70 (used) - and even I don't love it that much. :(

Another great score is the theme from the Magnificent Seven. Everybody loves that one, right?

Always makes me smile when I hear it...

Always loved the score from The Natural....Randy Newman's masterpiece. There's just something magical about it.
