What Is The One Invention You Wished That You Came Up With?

LukeEl

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
Well it really doesn't have to be one but here is my short list:
-The Internet
-Those plastic things that go around shoelaces
-Peel and eat shrimp
-Astronaut bread
-Mr. Pibb
-Those Dyson Vaccums because they look cool

'Nothing' (literally the concept of ('nothing'). So many people engage in it the royalties from it would have provided me with a nest egg larger than Buffet's and Gates' combined.

I don't really have one in the sense everybody else is talking about. I think seeking, knowing, and freely sharing knowledge with everybody is more important than the glory or money that goes along with it. I think hording most knowledge is unethical and a detriment to existence. If anything I would hope to come up with something that would help a lot of people in need and give it to them.

Hypothetically if I wanted to be greedy I would want to have invented the wheel, all methods of producing heat, and the numbers 1 and 0 and devise a way to control the patent on them forever.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
Bud Light.

Is there a better way to produce a half-ass product and still be filthy rich?

Porn.

It takes all kinds. The world has and has had it's share of philanthropic sages who's genius has produced many works that have advanced the existence of mankind.

But frankly most inventions have nothing to do with 'necessity' (as in the saying, 'necessity is the mother of all..."). Most inventions come about from some desire for more convenience or efficiency. In the rawest sense...man had solutions for light and heat for thousands of years before the discovery of electricity and it's uses.
