Just saw that today myself. GREAT movie.
I reserved a copy of this and was at the store early to collect it! I'm a total Tolkien nerd.
But, my god, doesn't this movie look great on 1080p!!! I'm sooooooo glad I waited for the extended edition to come out on BR -- I was very tempted to buy the theatrical BR versions.Just wait until you watch the battle at Minas Tirith in "Return of the King." Stunning!!

(although I have to confess I remember getting a bit bored by Return of the King, it was all starting to get a bit repetitive)
