Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut (2009).

Comic book adaptations to film are usually horrible, stinking, festering, pus-dripping, bloody disgusting perversions, full of Hollywood clichés and completely devoid of any respect towards the original. This one however... It was actually tolerably good. That is extremely rare. Mind you, I still have complaints, but they are rather minor considering how much could have gone wrong in the making of this movie. I'm thankful that it turned out in the way it did.
