I agree; it was truly captivating. It is my number one movie of 2007 followed by Beowulf. Imo, the worst movie with the greatest potential was I am Legend. The books are usually better and this another one of those cases, however, Beowulf was far from a snore unlike the original Saxon poem.

Glad to know someone who appreciates a good movie.I recommend it to anyone who loves cinema. They don't make movies with a good storyline anymore. Guilermo del toro is a wonderful director.
