What is the latest good film you watched ?

You know it was based on real science more than I thought it would be, but I found other technical flaws that had me turning off. :dunno:

I'm looking forward to this one, but will there be an unrated DVD? I hate it when a film comes out and faster you can say 'jack rabbit slims' there's an unrated DVD.

im curious to know what there was to hate about the ending of Children of Men, feel free to let me know. but i cant speak about Blood Diamond because i have yet to see it.
the latest good movie ive seen is "Big Nothing" its comedy with simon pegg (hot fuzz/shawn of the dead) and David Schwimmer (ross from friends)

I am sure somebody with kids can tell me what movie it is that I watched the other day.
It is from the 90's and it a children's movie. The father is a air plane pilot, that gets called away to France. He is friends with a lady that I think has the hots for him. He is married and lives in New York I think. He has a son and a daughter.
The lady that has the hots for him, has to go somewhere for a long time. She has a poodle that is ugly and the man and his wife take care of the poodle. I don't think that the man knows that they are doing so, because he goes to the pound with his son, and they take home a dog that is about to be put to sleep.
The couple argues a lot and the dogs can talk to each other. The poodle is a snob and has a caste as a dog house.
the man, his wife and the son all look familiar.

Not my all-time favorite, but I just saw Next with Nicholas Cage. Its a pretty cool idea and they treated it well. If you just walked into the movie about half-way through, you'd think, "what the heck...?" but if you know whats going on, its interesting.

How the hell old are you? Memento came out in 2000, 7 years ago....that's old???? Damn what an odd concept of time.
