I'm not saying it was a great film but it was a good one, carried by really strong performances by Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern. I'd have to go as far back as Election (1999) for the last I felt Reese had this much command and screen presence. Also, she looks really good with her clothes off in this movie.

A River Runs Through It. That's one of those movies I have to watch if it's on. And not because Brad Pitt is dreamy. Well, maybe. But no homo. Okay, maybe a little homo.
I'm a pretty big Wes Anderson fan. And while I really enjoyed this film, I actually think his prior film, Moonrise Kingdom, was far superior.
