Yeah, that was one of the movies you mentioned that I grabbed. And yeah, I liked it.
I take it the "most of the time" is there because you seem to be pretty okay with me, and that strikes me as a sure sign of questionable taste...

Nah the "most of the time" is there because sometimes I like movies that others don't like, so to some people my tastes may not be that good.

Total Recall 2012 has very good action and FX, but the story had weak points and connected with plot devices.
I watched it again yesterday and enjoyed it more the second time, but I still think the first Total Recall (1990) has a much better story.

Wasn't it? I loved it! I was hesitant to watch it because I'm not a big fan of westerns and someone told me that's what it was, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Really amazing movie, 5 stars. I thought the sound effects were cool too, as small of a thing as it may seem, but like the sounds they did when Django took his shirt off in the beginning and the sounds they did when they were shipping. Maybe that's just because there was a stereo surround sound system hooked up to the TV.
I'm a massive Western fan, but was a bit dubious with Tarantino gettings his hands on the genre. Very good film though plus Ennio Morricone (spaghetti western god).
I watched Silver Linings Playbook this afternoon. Not bad, Jennifer Lawrence - phroooooooar.
