Those yellow barrells popping up outta the ocean always gave me the shivers and the fact that the shark was hidden throughout much of the movie leaving behind it's nasty manifestations afterwords is scary.

Saving Private Ryan (1998)

A little patriotic at first but the picture still held my attention. My fav scene is when Vin Diesel gets shot and you hear a piano sound. I don't know if that was a Spielberg trademark or what have you but the scene works. And Barry Pepper as the christian sniper is my fav character in the film. Too bad he dies.
