Just watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, directed by David Fincher, and it had my attention throughout the whole 158 minutes. Its a better stylized version than the 2009 Swedish film in which I also watched BTW.
Ditto. What an amazing film. A stunning look at the beauty and horror of the human condition, the power of secrets, tragedy and how to overcome it. And Rooney Mara absolutely DESERVES to be nominated for an Oscar for her work. She was mesmerizing, brilliant at Lisbeth Salander -- God, I can't stop thinking about her hauntingly vulnerable yet savagely primal eyes...
The sequel is already locked in and I can't wait! (And I'm gonna read the books, too!)
