What is the latest good film you watched ?

High Plains Drifter. I bought it last weekend and it is still a great film.

If you haven't seen it but decide to do so you must remember it was made in 1973 so the pace is quite different from today's ways of editing. This is the movie that made me a Clint Eastwood. After watching this you should watch Pale Rider. :2 cents: :hatsoff:

The latest I watched was the original "King Kong" since I just bought the latest remastered version for my dad's birthday me and my dad thought it would be nice to watch this latest one and see how they compare.

Cars. I thought it was really funny, it also looked great. It will keep everyone young and old entrained.

I class a good film as a film you would want to watch more than once. Cidade de Deus aka City of God was the last film that made me want to watch it again. However, City of God is not a good film, it is a great film. I have it on DVD.

I just saw "No Man's Land", a Bosnian movie, it was excellent. Of course, it won "Best Foreign Language Film" at the 2003 Oscars.

I also liked some of the Miyazaki animations, like "Spriited Away", and I like some of the newer Yimou Zhang films, "To Live", "The Road Home" and "Happy Times".

Just watched "The Hills Have Eyes" :eek: and I'm still trying to figure how to get revenge on my "friends" who recommended it. I'll have you know I stuck it out till the end though.:)

I only got sick once and two times a little gag moment and trust me baby I don't have much of a gag reflex. :rofl: It takes a WHOLE lot. That movie has what it takes though.
