so...its actually scary for once? I like horror movies for the blood and gore now. I've not been scared by a movie since I was real young. And that was only cause I was a kid and didn't know all that shit was fake.

I thought District 9 was the obvious winner of sci-fi of the year, now I'm not so sure. Went all the way up to London to see this and it was well worth it. Sam Rockwell is amazing (he needs to be a leading man more often), and the score was a highlight, every time I heard the piano building I got goosebumps.

An amazing movie,very reminiscent of some of the classic sci-fi of the 70s, if you haven't seen it I recommend Silent Running. I want to a special screening with a director Q&A afterwards. Duncan Jones seemed like a nice chap & will hopefully go on to do more great movies.
