It was good if it would be a stand-alone movie, but the fact that the games are better is really bad. The movie had some good scenes, but sometimes it reminded me of a music video. Too much kung-fu.
Why not bring the S.T.A.R.S-team back, with Leon S. Kennedy maybe?

Eli Roth had a minor role in Death Proof, had a minor role in this film - did a service-able job in both.
A good movie. I also saw the British theatrical adaptation a couple years back.
