Just saw the new Nick Cage movie Knowing.

Nothing outstanding, but an entertaining sci-fi flick with a few good suspense scenes. It managed to keep the pace well, and not have a lot of dull or rushed moments- which is enough to meet my expectations and call it worth watching, which can't be said for most movies these days.

Clint Eastwood's latest, "Gran Torino"- Damn good movie. The writing, the acting, the pacing- everything is right on. Found it to be a nice mix of chuckles, "Fuck yeah!" moments, and even a little bit of man crying on my part.

Very, very good movie.
