What is the latest good film you watched ?

X-Files: I Want To Believe. I wasn't really crazy about it though. I love the first movie but this one wasn't as good IMO. I kept thinking "Get to the damn plot already!" The movie was okay but it wasn't really about the X-Files, it was more about Mulder and Scully.

Not new but The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is a brilliant film. Regardless of a few moments where Owen Wilson and Cate Blanchett exhibit some truly horrible acting the ensemble cast is a treat to watch. I do not care what rottentomatoes.com says. This film is better than many, many others.

It's the little things that make this film great. Bill Murray is close to perfect. Mothersbaugh's beats - for all you Devo fans. Seu Jorge's renditions of Bowie. The lush CGI of completely fantastical sea creatures. The fact that the whole thing is a homage du Cousteau. One of my all time fav's. :thumbsup:
