Hatchet is pretty good! Old School horror! :thumbsup: But 30 Days of Night is the best outa that list by far! :thumbsup:

Try Mother of Tears. I haven't seen the whole thing, but the gore factor of that movie, on a scale of 1-10, is about a 12.7.

I just saw Vantage Point. I have to say it's a fresh and intriguing style. The actors weren't bad too-- Forest Whittaker, Dennis Quaid and William Hurt. They show the assassination of the US President from different perspectives, one after another and with each perspective more and more of the plot is revealed until they all converge and the story totally unfolds.

The only thing I didn't like about that film was the little girl at the end.

The guy just killed hundreds of people, so why didn't he just run the girl over? Change of heart? :dunno:

yeah, that was very deus ex machina.

wouldn't it have been great if the guy just plowed over the little girl and drove off and they were like "aw, fuck, he got away!" and that was the end of the movie?

just watched no country for old men on bluray. very very good movie, reminds me of unforgiven in some ways, definitely worth seeing twice.
