For the first time in 4 years I went to the movies and after 25 minutes of advertisements, trailers, and notices to turn off mobiles, pagers etc I got to see RAMBO, Stallone's peon ode to the Gods of Cinematic Violence.

I thought at the end there would have been a memorial to Richard Crenna, who I think died last year.

Fuck the critics, the blood and guts just made it hilariously amazing.

I had the biggest smile on my face the whole time. Even when peoples heads were being blown off, I was just laughing! The final showdown is one to go down in action movie history.

The only problem is, there is no build up to the choas, and when hell finally does break loose, it's over too soon. I hope they release an extended version on DVD.

If you go to see this, please leave your brain and your heart at home.

Good flick. And well acted. Has a very harsh ass 2 ass scene with the gorgeous Jennifer Connelly, and although I did not enjoy watching that scene ... the idea of banging Jennifer Connelly in the ass is a nice thought. And will no doubt keep me warm in bed tonight.

I went old school '80's with the DvD that I watched tonight:
Last American Virgin

On the onset, it seems like a silly, coming of age sex comedy... then it veers into a deeper flick towards the end...and the ending itself is one doesn't expect at all (no Hollywood ending here!). The soundtrack is perfect and the cast, or at least the main male and female leads, do a tremendous job of pulling that silliness to a much serious focus. I really recommend watching this film if you haven't already...
