What is the latest good film you watched ?

I went to see Definitely, Maybe last night with the fiancee for Valentine's Day. I wasn't expecting much, but actually thought it was one of the better RomComs that I have seen.

family guy: blue harvest.

an almost scene-by-scene version of star wars, but with the cast of family guy as the principals. at my house someone actually shit their pants while watching it.

"Tempted" It was a great movie because it had a wonderful story behind it. Good actors too. While it bordered on a 'chick flick' which I don't usually care for it had my attention in the first 10 minutes and that's hard to do. It actually wasn't as much about the title as about revelations and family which puzzled me. Being 'Tempted" was a very small part of it. Very good moving movie. I was flipping channels, answered the phone and it came on. I would have ended up on A & E or something I'm sure had the phone not rang.

I think Russell Crowe was a pretty good actor in the remake of 3:10 to Yuma. It was a good movie too.

i have seen The Eye in Theatres, the 1 with Jessica Alba

I liked it alot, but the end had me scratching my head. just didn't see the reasoning behind his actions. seemed out of place, more for "hollywood" than story relevence.
Training Day 2 times

Training Day is one of my favs!

Recently, I rented some older movies I overlooked. I liked them all, but I was on a roll for picking movies with endings that were somewhat left for interpretation and stories which were a challenge to follow. Regardless, they were enjoyable and i would recommend them

Inside Man
Lucky Number Slevin (really liked that one)
Next (overlooked Nicholas Cage movie. . . not great, but not bad)
A History of Violence (overhyped in my opinion, but i still liked it)

Hitman. Excellent job. A bit slow pacing, like the games. But dead-on except for the music. (Didnt feel 100% like the games music tends to put you at..)

No country for old men. Moral of the story? Life is random. Cruel. There doesnt have to be a reason for any of it, so man up and keep going.

Family guy Blue Harvest. Hilarious. Seth keeps the comedy honed razor sharp as usual. More power to him and the gang.

Dirty Sanchez Movie. I'm officially *over* jackass. The 'Sanchez boys are friggin' awesome and take it so much further than jackass ever did. Rock on, and where can I pick up everything else DS?!

The original The Stepford Wives

Much better. And much more superior to that lame remake a few years back. Damn shame they chose to go with a comedy, than for something somewhat serious as the original.

There Will Be Blood

Very good, the ending was a bit... Erm.. I dunno?!

Likely to be one of the best films this year.

The only problem is that I wish I'd watched the trailer. I avoided it on purpose because I didn't want it to ruin anything. I ended up with a vision of what it was going to be in my head, and it ended up completely different.

I heard from people that the ending was a bit weird, but I was not expecting that at all.
