I really liked it and no, it doesn't follow the typical Hollywood format.

That's the Coens for ya, hats off to them :hatsoff:

Suprising it has 8 oscar nominations, it feels more like a cult movie than a box office hit.

Its extreamly close to the book, almost exactly the same. Very good book, extreamly good film.
