What is the latest good film you watched ?

That's weird, I came in here to post this too. Bought it on DVD today.

It's a whole load of nonsense, but really cool nonsense .

Visually outstanding. The plot doesn't really make much sense, loads of random things going on for no reason, but it looks so good that it doesn't matter.

Glad to see Russian movies are being appreciated. They are weird though at times :)

Got any Q's about the movie ask me, I'll try to explain.

Also would suggest "Russian translation" mini-series. About Soviet military advisors in Yemen and Libya

Sweeney Todd - the Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Possibly the only musical I'll ever enjoy. :D Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter were just superb. My only complaint would be the ending, which leaves a strange number of loose ends.

:sing: "There's a hole in the world like a great black pit,
And it's filled with people who are filled with shit,
And the vermin of the world inhabit it...
But there's no place like Lo-o-ondon!"

Godzilla 1985

I always liked the film when I was a kid. And now have a particular fondness for it. Still think it's a quite well done Godzilla flick. Despite the american version and it's obvious advertising for Dr. Pepper. :)

The Kingdom.

Saudi shenanigans with Jamie Foxx and Chris Cooper and one helluva explosion at the beginning.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

I'm addicted to Potter films lately.

I watched Gangs of New York again the other day, I forgot just how good that movie is. Also just watched Beowulf for the first time, I thought it was very impressive.

MILF Man

milf n' cookies
Red Road (2006)

Starring Kate Dickie. I saw this film for the first time on the Sundance Channel last night. I thought it was a really good movie. It's a very touching and a very moving film and a little sad. But it's definitely worth watching.

When Trumpets Fade.

Great WWII film about the battle of Hurtgen Forest, 1944.

Lonely Are the Brave (9 / 10)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056195/

Deep in my heart I'm a sentimental fool. I love this film!

Great movie, reportely Kirks favorite movie.I was just reading one of the reviews at IMBD and the western "Man without a star" was mentioned I also think Kirk was very good in that, and i hope we see that on DVD soon. Not as good as "Paths of Glory" or "Seven days in May" but still very good.
