Best monster movie I've seen in years.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with this movie and I usually like Korean cinema,but to each his/her own,I guess.

I saw Cloverfield last night and I thought it was pretty good.I would definitely recommend it.:thumbsup:

I agree with the Cloverfield recommendation. I liked the way they made the beginning of the movie so boring that when the action started, I was going "Thank God!" and then was taken on such an intense ride that I was thinking "Please stop!" - but didn't really want it to

Another recent movie that I liked a LOT was Charlie Wilson's War. You probably have to be a political junkie to really enjoy it in some ways, but all of the performances were great - Hoffman and Hanks were just hilarious.

Red Devil Battery Sign was funny in a very dark and weird way - so dark and weird that I don't think that it ever made it onto Broadway, never mind filmed - well, maybe it was filmed for PBS, if I remember correctly.
