Disappearance at Clifton Hill

I remember going to Clifton Hill in Niagara as a *****. It was a cheesy, tourist trap back then, and they somehow even made it cheesier today, now with shootings added.
Suicides at Niagara Falls are actually a thing, and there is an unwritten rule that the media won't report it, which is why you don't hear about it. But the fact that the first boats of each day that go up to the falls have the purpose to look for "floaters" tells you something.

Why not report it? I guess it would stop people going otherwise and boost revenue for the area?

Exactly. You make more money as the "Honeymoon Capital", rather than "Suicide City".
You don't want your hotel guests waking up to a newspaper headline saying " ##th body found at the falls this week". I don't know if there is money involved with the media or they do it voluntarily. Also, it's no secret that the mafia owns a big part of the hotels/casinos, so I'm guessing they have also "persuaded" the media from reporting the numbers.

Jumping into the Falls/Gorge is a given, but another source of suicides are the hotels around the casinos, where people are known to have lost their life's savings and off themselves in their rooms.

Yes, it's a low-budget indie film, but A for effort in trying to bring a WWII story where the Germans aren't one-dimensional evil villains.

Films like Valkyrie, Rommel and Das Boot have shown that it can be done, so hopefully we might see a more well-funded attempt again sometime.

For those who watched Jurassic Park Dominion, was the 3D worth it? I'm debating whether to see it in theatres, and the main reason to do so would be the 3D

******* Club

Here's the movie adaptation of a manga series. Think "50 shades of Grey" but with lesbian highschoolers and much more hardcore action.
The trailer can't show it for youtube reasons, but the actual film has just as much nudity & action as any JAV film.

Which then begs the question - does this qualify as porn & therefore subject under the new Japanese laws?

I saw this today it was my last chance to see it in 3D AVX, and that was really the only reason to see it in theatres.

I didn't care too much about the story, but the effects and sound where well worth it. All the dinos biting at you from head-on, that's where you get value for your 3D effects. And the 3D sound really came through - just make sure you get a seat in the center.

It was a cool decision & fitting to bring back everyone for the finale. Lots of callbacks to all the films, and even some funny ones thrown in.

End of an era.
